Raiders Release 2021 Baseball Schedule

NICEVILLE, Florida – The Northwest Florida State College baseball schedule features 25 home games in 2021, the program announced Wednesday.
The Raiders open their regular season on Jan. 22 against Miami Dade in the Marissa Gusto Memorial Tournament in Fort Myers, Fla. NWF kicks off its home slate against TNXL Academy (Feb. 5-6) in a three-game series.
The non-conference schedule is highlighted by home contests against Mississippi Gulf Coast (Feb. 12) and San Jacinto (Feb. 13) as well as a five game homestand versus Bishop State (Feb. 23), Shelton State (Feb. 25-27), and Coastal Alabama – South (Feb. 26).
The Raiders start Panhandle Conference play on March 9 at Pensacola State and will host the Pirates in a doubleheader on March 13 for the team's league home opener.
Northwest Florida State last played a regular season game on March 12. The NJCAA's Return to Action plan allowed teams to practice for 60 consecutive calendar days within Sept. 5-Nov. 15. Teams could also play a maximum of 15 scrimmages against outside competition.
Fans will be allowed to attend NWF baseball games in the spring with proper social distancing and mask requirements in place.
