Nasir Frederick Named Region VIII Player of the Week

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Freshman outfielder Nasir Frederick Nasir Frederick has been named FCSAA/Region VIII Baseball Player of the Week, the association announced on Tuesday.

Frederick batted .500 (4-8) with four runs scored, three home runs and 10 RBI in three games for the Raiders last week.

The Wayne, Mich. Native helped Northwest Florida to two wins in games against Chipola and homered in each game with a pair of four-RBI games.

On the season, Frederick is batting .267 with 14 RBI and eight runs scored.
