Five Raiders Earn All-FCSAA Baseball Recognition

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — On Thursday afternoon, the FCSAA unveiled its 2024 All-FCSAA First/Second-Team baseball selections, along with the recipients of the Player and Pitcher of the Year awards. Northwest Florida State baseball made a significant mark on the list, securing two First-Team Selections and two Second-Team Selection, along with one gold glove recipient.

Cayden Gaskin and Mack Estrada were the Raiders two First-Team selections, while Colby Jones and Cade Sadler were their two Second-Team Selections. Chase Williams was the Raiders lone Gold Glove recipient, earning the award as an outfielder.

For Jones, this is the second-straight year he's received a All-FCSAA Second-Team accolade while the others land on the prestigious list for the first time in their careers. Over the last two seasons, Doug Martin and the Raiders have produced eight All-FCSAA players - four in 2024 and four in 2023. Gaskin and Estrada become the Raiders first All-FCSAA First-Team recipients since 2021 when catcher Austin Kelly landed on the list as the lone selection for Northwest Florida that year.

You can catch all five of these players in action tomorrow afternoon when they get set to take on Florida Southwestern in the second round of the FCSAA State/Region VIII Championships in Tampa, beginning at 4:00 p.m. (CDT)
