Raiders Cap Home Slate with 15-7 Win; Quigley Sets Single-Season Home Run Record

NICEVILLE, Fla. — Northwest Florida closed out its 2026 home schedule in style Thursday night, rolling to a 15-7 run-rule victory over Tallahassee in seven innings. The win sent the Raiders' sophomore class—and Head Coach Doug Martin—off in their final regular-season home game on a high note.

The night was highlighted by a historic moment from third baseman Anthony Quigley, who launched his 16th home run of the season in the fifth inning to set a new program single-season record.

Angel Santiago delivered a standout performance in his final regular-season game in Niceville, going 4-for-5 at the plate with two home runs and five RBIs. Hunter Tarchalski was perfect at the dish, finishing 4-for-4 with two RBIs, while Sam Bradley added two hits and drove in a pair.

Santiago set the tone early with a solo home run in the first before adding a three-run blast in the second to give the Raiders an early cushion. Northwest Florida continued to apply pressure in the third, with RBI hits from Tarchalski and Bradley extending the lead to 7-1.

Tallahassee rallied with a four-run fourth and added another in the fifth to close the gap to 7-6, but the Raiders answered immediately. Quigley's record-breaking homer sparked a three-run fifth inning, and Bradley and Tarchalski followed with RBI knocks to push the lead back to four.

After Tallahassee plated a run in the sixth, the Raiders put the game out of reach in the bottom half. Brock Clayton delivered the knockout blow with a grand slam to cap a four-run inning, and Santiago added an RBI single in the seventh to seal the 15-7 victory.

Northwest Florida will wrap up the regular season Saturday with a doubleheader at Tallahassee. With Gulf Coast securing a win Thursday, the Raiders remain in contention for a second-place finish and a potential home playoff berth.
