Ivey Hill Earns Region 8 Player of the Week Honor

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Northwest Florida State freshman Ivey Hill was named Region VIII/FCSAA Softball Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday. 

In four games, Hill batted .538 (7-for-13) with five runs scored, one home runs, and 11 RBIs. The left-hander from Warrior, Ala., was unstoppable in a doubleheader against Coastal Alabama – South going 6-for-8 with six runs batted in.

On the season, Hill is batting .468, ranks seventh in the nation with seven home run and ninth with 24 RBIs.

Hill and the Raiders return to action on March 9 against Coastal Alabama – East at the Raider Softball Complex.
