Nine Raiders Earn All-Panhandle Conference Honors, Carter Named Player of the Year, Andy Lee Named Coach of the Year
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The FCSAA unveiled the 2026 Softball Panhandle and Citrus All-Conference selections on Monday afternoon, with Northwest Florida once again heavily represented. The Raiders placed nine players on the all-conference teams, including eight First Team selections and one Second Team honoree. Freshman Savannah Carter headlined the group after being named Panhandle Conference Player of the Year, while Andy Lee earned his fourth consecutive Conference Coach of the Year Award.
A two-way standout, Carter has been dominant both in the circle and at the plate this season. In the circle, she leads the Raiders with a 1.24 ERA and 135 strikeouts. Offensively, despite just 65 at-bats, Carter is hitting .462 with seven home runs, 31 RBIs, a .533 on-base percentage, and an impressive .892 slugging percentage.
Joining Carter on the First Team are Karson McGowan (INF), Bre Hughes (INF), Hailey Hughes (OF), Jaci Garry (OF), Nyla Treptau (C), Mallory Baker (P/OF), and Marlee Parsons (P). Anna Grace Griggs (UT/OF) earned Second Team honors.
McGowan and Bre Hughes have anchored Northwest Florida's offense all season. McGowan leads the team with 70 RBIs and is tied with Jaci Garry for the team lead in home runs with 11. Hughes has been an on-base machine, batting .407 with a .566 on-base percentage while leading the nation with 56 stolen bases and adding 10 home runs.
Hailey Hughes has continued to be one of the Raiders' most reliable bats, hitting .365 with 54 hits, 50 RBIs, 32 stolen bases, and a .595 slugging percentage. Fellow outfielder Jaci Garry has delivered plenty of power, batting .358 with 19 doubles, 11 home runs, and 61 RBIs while posting a.709 slugging percentage.
Freshman catcher Nyla Treptau has been exceptional in her first season, batting .406 with 41 hits, 11 doubles, 24 RBIs, and a .512 on-base percentage.
Mallory Baker has excelled as one of the conference's top two-way players. At the plate, she is hitting .435 with 30 hits, seven doubles, and 14 RBIs. In the circle, Baker owns an 11-1 record with a 1.65 ERA across 72.1 innings pitched, adding 56 strikeouts and a 1.09 WHIP.
Marlee Parsons has been a workhorse in the circle for the Raiders, posting a 16-1 record with a 1.49 ERA in 103.2 innings. She has struck out 99 batters while holding opponents in check with a stellar 0.86 WHIP.
Griggs rounds out the honorees after another strong season, batting .408 with 51 hits, 53 runs scored, 25 stolen bases, and a .479 on-base percentage.
The postseason awards continue what has been another dominant year for Northwest Florida as the Raiders prepare for postseason play with one of the most decorated rosters in the state.
