TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Shelbee Brown scored a career-high 20 points to lead No. 1 Northwest Florida State men's basketball over Tallahassee, 63-42, on Thursday.
Brown was 6-of-9 from the field and 8-of-9 from the free throw line and snagged 10 rebounds for her first career double-double.
Masengo Mutanda had 14 points and Chanaya Pinto chipped in with seven to go with eight boards.
NWF held Tallahassee to just 11 field goals – a 23.4 percent field goal percentage. The Raiders outrebounded TCC 43-29 and forced 22 turnovers.
The Raiders (10-0, 6-0 PC) return to Raider Arena to face Chipola at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
