NICEVILLE, Fla. – The Northwest Florida State women's basketball team was rewarded for the one of the best seasons in program history with the top seed in the FCSAA/Region VIII State Tournament set for April 7-10 in Raider Arena.

The Raiders (19-1) will take on No. 8 Eastern Florida on Wednesday, April 7 at 6 p.m. in the first round of the tournament.

The game is a rematch from the FCSAA quarterfinals last season, in which Northwest Florida advanced after a 77-54 win over the Titans.
